Public contributions
We believe in open engineering. Our open source WordPress plugins and internal tools are regularly shared with the world to foster innovation.

Why open source
Our open source WordPress plugins, UI libraries and developer tools come straight from real client and product work. When a utility proves useful across projects, we clean it up, document it and publish it so other developers can benefit too.
Open source keeps us honest. Public code is reviewed by the community, which pushes us to follow WordPress coding standards, write tests and keep dependencies light — the same standards we apply to the premium plugins we sell.
You are welcome to use our projects on personal and commercial sites under their published licenses, report issues, suggest features and send pull requests.
FAQ
Are your open source WordPress plugins free to use?
Yes. They are released under open licenses such as the GPL, so you can use them on personal and client sites at no cost.
How can I contribute?
Open an issue to report a bug or suggest an idea, or fork the repository and send a pull request. We review every contribution and credit our contributors.
Do you offer support for open source projects?
Community support happens through the issue tracker. If you need guaranteed response times or custom changes, our team can help as a paid engagement.
What is the difference between your open source and premium plugins?
Open source projects focus on developer tools and building blocks. Premium plugins like Fixo Cart add polished interfaces, licensing, automatic updates and direct support.
Can you build a custom plugin based on your open source code?
Yes. Many clients start with one of our libraries and ask us to extend it. Share your requirements on the Start a Project page and we will send a plan.
How often are projects updated?
We update projects when new WordPress or PHP releases require it and whenever we improve the tools for our own work. Release notes are published with every version.
Which licenses do you use?
Most WordPress projects use GPLv2 or later to match WordPress itself, while standalone JavaScript libraries usually use the MIT license.
Do you also sell premium plugins?
Yes. Alongside our open source WordPress plugins we sell polished premium products. See all of them on our WordPress plugins page, including Fixo Cart for WooCommerce cart recovery and Marquee Running Text for news tickers.
Can I hire the team behind these projects?
Absolutely. The engineers who maintain our open source code also build client products. Explore our software development services or share your idea on the Start a Project page.
Where can I read about how these tools are built?
Our engineers write about architecture, performance and plugin development on the BongDevs tech blog. Many articles explain the ideas behind our open source WordPress plugins and include code you can reuse.
Are your open source WordPress plugins safe to use on a live store?
Yes. Every release is tested on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce versions before it ships. We follow the official coding standards, escape all output, check nonces and capabilities, and keep dependencies to a minimum. If you ever find a security problem, report it privately through our contact page and we will patch it quickly.
Developers from every background are welcome. Find an issue on GitHub and start coding.
